ABOUT SIXTY55

I’m Jessica Benedict
— founder of SIXTY55, a design studio that transforms brand promises into legendary, immersive experiences.
With degrees in Architecture and Interior Design and over 20 years leading global-scale projects — including spearheading a massive 165-location global rollout for Tesla Motors’ Model S Design Studios — and long-term partnerships (10 years reshaping a regional credit union’s relationship centers), I’ve built environments that guide people through a brand, spark emotion, and leave lasting impressions.
SIXTY55 was born from a moment of transition. After leaving my role at world class display & fabrication company, a past client reached out for help — and that call sparked the idea for my own practice. At the same time, I was caring for my grandmother in the final chapter of her life, moving her back to the home she’d lived in for over 40 years (6055) so she could pass peacefully surrounded by memories instead of in a nursing home. That address — SIXTY55 — became the creative beacon I built my freelance business around: a reminder to create with heart, legacy, and intention.
Today, we don’t just design spaces — we craft moments that feel effortless, elevated, and unforgettable. My guiding principle — “Build the promise. Become the legend.” — drives everything: from inventing custom systems and multi-sensory elements (tech bars, illuminated focals, interactive brand zones, kids’ experiences, branded scents) to owning end-to-end delivery, procurement, logistics, and operational excellence.
Whether scaling global projects or designing intimate, owner-centric spaces, I obsess over every detail that makes an environment feel truly legendary — because the promise is only as strong as the experience it delivers.
